Shiny Hsin-Yi Chen-Cotham, M.A. Ed

Shiny Hsin-Yi Chen-Cotham (she/her) is a Resilience Consultant with Acknowledge Alliance. Shiny was born in Taiwan, earned her Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Stanford University and taught K-8th grades in Bay Area public schools. Her approach to SEL and care draws from both classroom experiences and cross-racial community-building endeavors. She has facilitated restorative circles, peer emotional support sessions, and healing justice spaces, and is also an aspiring herbalist and qi gong practitioner. Shiny lives in Oakland, on Lisjan Ohlone Land.
