Leslie Sherman, AMFT, APCC

Leslie is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#114554) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#6835). She graduated in May 2019 with a Masters in Counseling at SF State. From 2016-2017, she worked at Episcopal Community Services, providing therapy to adults who were recently homeless, and she has worked (2017-present) at Queer LifeSpace in the Castro in SF, conducting therapy for queer/trans adults, adolescents, couples, and groups. Leslie works from a psychodynamic and feminist theoretical perspective, integrating DBT techniques to provide clients with more immediate relief of symptoms. Leslie also speaks Spanish (non-native speaker), and enjoys working with folks from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures.
