Edy Cardona

Edy is passionate about problem-solving, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education, DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) initiatives, and mental wellness. He is currently a process engineer at Applied Materials working on novel oxidation products for the semiconductor industry. He received his B.A. in Physics and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley.

He wishes to apply his problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills as a board member for Acknowledge Alliance to help K-12 children learn about social emotional development and build resilience to thrive academically and socially.
