Cortney Richardson
Cortney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She has a passion for working with children, parents and teachers to support healthy relationships and communication across environments. She has experience working as a mental health consultant within early childhood preschool and daycare settings, supporting directors, teachers and parents to better understand the children they care for and make meaning of their behaviors. Cortney is dedicated to working collaboratively, building relationships and honoring different life experiences. She has experience working with caregivers around understanding the impact of trauma on children and how to understand and support subsequent needs of the child and family. In her work she values inclusion, respect, community and meeting individuals where they are.
